RESPONSIVE TEACHING INSTITUTE is now the RESPONSIVE COALITION INSTITUTE

The Responsive Teaching Coalition is a network of districts that work collaboratively to redefine education by inviting school administrators, K-12 teachers, and students to work collaboratively through a framework focused on equity in learning.

Educators will develop the following competencies through professional learning:

Knowing how to be equity leaders in their school district and learning communities.
Developing a common language and ability to apply research-informed frameworks in culturally responsive education, to effectively evaluate and integrate culturally responsive pedagogies in their classroom and/or professional community.
A collaboration space to bridge the learning from other WISD social justice and equity work.
Utilizing online meeting technology to build professional learning communities and constructively participate in teaching and learning online.
